Any c/l proc for FadeIn/Out of mp2 and ac3?

Captured 1 or 2 hours from satellite DVB (free tv). Demuxed audio by ProjectX yielding two files: name.mp2 and name.ac3

How to FadeIn the first and FadeOut the last 10 (n) seconds?

Preferably only touching the FadeIn/Out segments and not touching the major part of the recording.

Any commandline procedures? Any suggestions?
