Hi all,
i am looking for a way to encode only a specific zone of the picture, e.g. the upper right corner only. doing this the rest of the picture should remain untouched, because its a crystal clear, dvd resolution dvb capture. i simply want to remove that annoying tv-logo without destroying the picture. i tried nearly every piece of movie editing software on earth but no chance. so only avisynth with its fantastic filter concept is my only hope!
if this isnt possible what would be the best way of encoding the complete film with the _least_ possible damage? i tried to figure that out on myself but i ended up biting my keyboard! so if someone had a real "soft" avs script for me id be very grateful!
thank you very much

Unfortunately it's impossible to encode only a section of a video without touching all the rest...BUT! Your problem is quite common, so there are many filters for logo removal from tv/dvb captures.

DeLogo is the first that comes to my mind... you can find it and other filters in the sticky thread in the avisynth usage forum called "Avisynth filter collection - www.avisynth.org/warpenterprises"

AFAIK Didée has created a "delogo" filter, and some other users as well if I remember well...
