Hi, I recently received a batch of dvd's containing mpeg audio. I manged to demux it to mpa with a dealy defined. Now here is where
it gets wierd. The sound just doens't want to sync. The DVD's work perfectly and the audio is okay, but once the final avi is created the audio just isn't synced anymore. Not to mention my log files aren't making any sense. In my stream information file it says there is a audio delay of 33ms and once I run it trough dvd2avi it states a 8ms delay. On my besweet log file it says there was a "Stream Error : Sync found after 592 bytes" Now all of this is very confusing to me. Here are the log files.

Is it because no one understands my question or because no one wants to answer? Either way, I find it rather sad that most of my post's go ignored, sometimes replied but never with a definite answer.. I guess it's time to look elsewhere. If anybody has any documentation on treating mpeg1 audio streams, you could simply send them my way, tell me where to find them or just ignore this thread (wich is most likely to happen).

Thanks..,

Stream error usually indicates a broken stream. Re-rip or use vobinput mode. Also be wary of rule 6.

Yes I did try re-riping the dvd but it still gives me the same errors. So basically what your saying is the audio source on my dvd is somehow broken. So it's probably just the distributor who did a bad job at authoring it?

Also be wary of rule 6.

No warez, cracks, serials or illegally obtained copyrighted content! Links to content of a questionable nature, asking for, offering, or asking for help/helping to process such content in any way or form is not tolerated.

Why? What I'm doing is perfectly legal, all copyrighted content with duplication, streaming and downloadable rights. And why wouldn't I be alowed to create member accounts for other people? People are quick to point out the rules even when they're not being broken...
