Hi.
I'm fairly new to AviSynth, but already becoming addicted to it!
I have studied the faqs and help pages, and searched this forum, but I'm still confused about how to use MPEGs with AS. I hope someone can help me out.
What is the best way to load MPEG video files into AviSynth so that the audio is also available. I've managed to use plugins like Mpegdecoder and Mpeg2dec3, but I can only load the video stream with these plugins. To get audio and video I have to demux the mpeg and load the streams seperately and do AudioDub in AS. Is this necessary?
So, can I have some opinions on the best way to load the following (audio and video) into AS:
1. mpeg-1 (vcd)
2. mpeg-2 (dvd)
3. vob
Thanks in advance,
Darrell.
