Hi!

Thanks for taking your time to read my post.

I am looking for a software that would let me replace audio track in my mpeg-2 file. I want to keep the video as is, but I need to replace the audio. All software I've tested so far wants to re-encode the video and I don't want that.

Although I am not authoring a DVD, I am working with an mpeg-2 file so I believe this is the right forum on the web site. If I am wrong accept my appologies.

Best!

I'm not just a kind of a newbie myself at this. I have changed audio with DVD-LAB and TMPGEnc DVD Author. I'm not sure of any free software that will do this.

if it is a mpeg file you can demux it an mux it again with the new audio
TMPGEnc mpeg tools are able to do that

I've made this guide for subtitles but it can help you with your issue too. CLICK HERE (http://dvd-rb.dvd2go.org/modules.php?name=Sections&op=viewarticle&artid=3)
