Hi,
I've got a couple of HTDV broadcasts in the format of .ts files, which are obviously MPEG2 TS streams.
What I'd like to do is convert these into DVD format with the best quality possible, maybe even splitting over more than one DVD-R to keep the bitrate up.
Can anyone give me any pointers on how I can extract the video from these files and pipe it into CCE via AviSynth?
I've had a bit of a play with ProjectX, but all I seem to able to get out of it so far is a single M2P video file for all of the TS files. Is this what I need or do I need to extract in a different format?
If this is the correct format, then how to I use this in an AviSynth script? I'm not sure what plugins or format conversion I need to handle such a file. Secondly, I'll obviously need to resize it from the nativ 1920x1880 down to 720x480, so what's the best method of doing this? I've always just used BicubicResize before, but what's the ultimate in terms of quality, if speed isn't an issue?
Any advice greatly appreciated :)
