Wierd thing happened to me with DVD Maestro - can anyone help?

I captured some streams from Digital Terrestrial using my Nova-T card. I ran them through PVAstrumento to demux and fix them, then imported into Maestro. All imported fine (there were 3 videos with audio). When I wrote to disc and played in y Standalone, VTS1 played fine, but when I selected VTS2 and VTS3, the picture just froze on whatever was on the screen and the audio carried on as normal (ie I could hear the audio for VTS2 and VT3 fine, but no picture). The vob files play on my PC fine, and the mpv streams play fine.
The only difference between them is that VTS1's MPV is flagged as 4:3 and VTS2 and VTS3 MPVs are flagged as 16:9. I changes to 16:9 (PS / LB) for these two movies, but still got the same result.

Any ideas?

edit - i just used SpruceUp - same thing happened (I do realise that both progs are made by the same company though)

EDIt - it seems like its something to do with PVASturmento cutting the file when the aspect ratio changes - it seems to mess up the file. I just captured a 16:9 and authored in DVD Maestro and it was fine. Any ideas why my standalone doesn't like the cut MPV from PVAStrumento? Is it something to do with GOPs and Flags? (I'm not really clued up on this kind of thing)

as u said u mustn't cut the files. U r removing imortant pointers from it.

I would demux the whole and import it to Maestro. Then I would use the sliding edges of the video to isolate the parts I need and save them under a different name.

It is easy then to Sync the audio to each part and thus avoiding the removal of the pointers u r missing using cutting from pvastrumento.

After much testing, I've narrowed it down to my DVDPlayer (Pioneer 444) I think. It's not just 16:9, its from certain terrestrial channels in the UK (ITV, C5) - even the original demux won't play (only sound). It plays on my PC, on the PS2, but not in my 444. Other channels (BBC etc) work fine - there is something in these particular streams that my 444 doesn't like it seems.

Mmm - found a difference in the stream. the ones that play fine have an Intra VLC format of 1. The ones that don't have an Intra VLC format of 0. Any way I can get around this problem?

Tried it, but can't change this value - the restreamed file does the same thing.
