its not realy an ripping/encoding question, but here it is anyway.

the dvd starts with a small movie (4 mins), then an title menu (lets call it A)

in A i can jump to B or C (under wich there are like 8 choices each)

i want to backup the dvd like this.

keep the first small movie (not realy important, but i like it)
delete menu A
go straight to B on dvdr 1 (with all contents after it, on the disk)
and straigt to C on dvdr 2

Its maybe an newbie questions, but how can i do this?

and straigt to C on dvdr 2 It is highly possible to do what you want but first how about posting what you have for your button commands on your Menu A? I assume that Menu A, in question, has two buttons: Menu B and Menu C.

1. Open up your DVD with PgcEdit

2. Look in PGC Selection list (left side), look for a VMGM/VTSM with 2b in it your PGC Selection leist on the left. This might be a trial and error task for you but we need to find that main menu so right-click on a menu and select "Show Menu Buttons".

Note: PgcEdit doesn't have full previewing capabilities so you would have to visualize what Menu A's button layout really looks like.

3. When you found it, close out Menu buttons dialog.

4. Go up to Info > PGC Commands. Highlight everything, right-click, Copy, and paste your info into your next post.

EDIT: In your Menu A, let me know what button numbers are for selecting Menu B and C.

How can i see where the buttons point toEvery button has a instructional command and it will be executed with selected. As I mentioned in my previous post, you will see it when you perform the steps I gave.

and what files/chapters are behind itThe command assigned to the button will determine how the navigations go. I recommend you go to http://www.dvd-replica.com/DVD/vmcmdset.php and read up on commands and DVD structure. It's a good site for learning.

and with wich program to use?As I mentioned again in my previous post, PgcEdit (http://home.tiscali.be/debie.roland/pgcedit/index.html).
