Hi fellas,

I come here coz i'm running out of options :<

Ok here's what I've done :

-extracted .m2v and 5.1 .ac3 from a PAL DVD

-multiplexed both, cut the start credits with MPEG-VCR

-demultiplexed the result, used azid in 24bit on the 5.1 audio, then re-encoded in AC3 stereo 192 kb/s with DVD Architect

-author a DVD using ifoedit

THE RESULTING DVD iS UTTER CRAP, stuttering every 2 seconds...

few problems there seems to be :
-the first frame of the video is green(remaing delta frames at the beginning of the file ?)
-the duration of the video is said to be twice the reality(3:00:00 instead of 1:30:00)

I've tried :
-fixing the GOP using MPEG-VCR, it says there's no GOP problem
-any other DVD authoring tool I could put my hands on. TMPGENC DVD-Author says the video has GOP problems and crashes at authoring.

My question is :
how can i fix my M2V file header ?
how can I get rid of the remaing delta frames at the beginning of the file and still be in sync with the AC3 file ?
how can i burn the damn thing on DVD? (finally ;)

Thank you for any advice!!!

noone willing to help ? :scared:

I just wish there was a VirtualDub For DVD files

I've tried to mess around with this DVD the same way I do with AVI's but this is not quite the same story ...

DVDLab can rewrite the gop, give it a try.
.
It's easier to cut the credits with dvdshrink than with mpeg-vcr.
.
Did you join the original vobs before demuxing, or did you demux each vob and then join them together?
.
What exactly are you trying to do?
