How to split?

I want to know if it's possible to split an xvid file by chapter automatically with a program, like BeSplit do it for audio file.

What do you mean by "bump" ? Sorry but i'm french and i don't use english very well, so i don'y know what significate this term. Can you also tell me which program can do this stuff, please?

"bump" means that his post contains no new information, but was done simply to bring this thread back to the front page of the forum, in the hopes that someone else would see it.

It is possible to split a file based on chapters, for example with avisplit (http://inferno.slug.org/cgi-bin/transcode). (It doesn't parse chapter files by itself, but that just requires a quick Perl wrapper.)
