Hi,
I'm just trying this program for the first time and I guess I have something set wrong...I did a search and didn't find anyone talking about this.
I've tried to use the program with 3 different dvd rips I have, and they all come up with the 800x56 error.
---------------------------
Cinema Craft Encoder Basic
---------------------------
Frame size 800x56 is not supported. Supported frame size is up to 720x576.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
Any idea why the PREPARATION Phase would try to create 800x56 files? The D2VAVS directory is only ~2MB...shouldn't this be DVD size?
Using: AVISYNTH v2.54, MPEG2Dec3dg.dll v1.0.1.0, CCE Basic 2.69.1.4

Try to open the avs file in windows media player. You will probably get an error message that tells you what's wrong.

@cls55.
That's a known trouble; time by time some nice people like you is asking support for that.
Very strange indeed the search button in your PC is not functional...
If you try again to search "frame AND size AND not AND supported" in the Rebuilder forum, I am sure you get the same answer I got for the problem (i.e people discussing about the Avisynth installation, which is most probably not properly working in your system)...
Cheers,

I concur with favalos. At one time, I was constantly getting that message but with something like 1003X586 not supported. I got fed up with it so I wanted to start on a clean plate, like the programs didn't exist on my HD. I uninstalled what needed to uninstalled and even clean out my registry looking for remnants. After fully installing everything back, I don't have that message anymore.

I moved my output folder to be right off the root...now I don't get any errors, but the resulting DVD doesn't work. The dvd is about 1.2GB...only 2 ~600MB vob files. The DVD menu seems to be there but when trying to watch the movie, there is just one frame (looks like the error message I got in media player classic stretched to the point it is unreadable) but the audio is there.
When I get a chance, I will try a different DVD to see if it is something to do with this one.

MPEG2DEC3.DLL or something else you are using with AVISYNTH is probably not installed properly. the 800x56 output is an error message from AVISYNTH. If you open the .AVS with Microsoft Media Player you will be able to read the message and it will even tell you the offending line in the .AVS file.
As mentioned, the "search" button is suggested. This question has been answered many times.
The reason your output is so small is because you probably have an entire movie of nothing but scrambled orange lines on a black background (see the FAQ)... in other words -- error messages from AVISYNTH.
If you don't correct the AVISYNTH error, the next DVD will also look exactly the same.

I get this type of error when I spell the name of an avs filter wrong when referencing it in the Filter editor. You didnt use the avs filter editor functionality in DVDRebuilder did you? If so check your spelling. Otherwise I would say get the newest beta version of avisynth from the homepage. Should take care of everything.
