Hi folks!
I was just wandering if someone know how to join DVDs. I'm trying to backup JFK and the movie is 2 dvds, first one having 4.1 GB and second one 3.5. So it would be nice to join those two baby then run it in Dvd-rb to have only one. Anyone got a way?
Thanks

I believe you can do this sort of thing with DvdReMake, but I'm not 100% positive. I'm sure I've seen guides on making one-disc backups from two-disc sources. Try a Google search...

Thanks for the link, but my problem is not joining a previously split dvd.
It's a movie already split on 2 dvds. They both contain the same menu and 1 half of the movie on each. It should like the lord of the rings extended edition, where you have 2 dvds.
You got any clues?

ok.you can choose: DVDRebuilder: http://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=75 ...
if you treat as 2 dvds you can follow that guide for only one menu:
http://www.deano.dsl.pipex.com/dvdremake/guides/merging/add_vmg_menu_pgc.htm
http://www.deano.dsl.pipex.com/dvdremake/dvdremake.htm
with ifoedit: http://ifoedit.wh.fr0zen.com/menuidiot.html
or a simple way with dvdshrink without compression with the 2 main movies, only one audio track/no subs) and do chapters and author in tmpgencdvdauthor.
hey,it's only ideas, depend of your target....i don't know if you want menus, subs, multiple audio tracks, chapters, etc. post extreme details about that and you will got more help from experts.(not from newbys like me) :o
