hello. i have a video i rendered using vegas 5. i rendered it to XVID (because for some reason, other rendering codecs are well over 3gbs. yet xvid rendered it as 1.5gb with great quality). now when i do the "AVI2SVCD" mode, and hit "Go"-"Start Conversion", it works upuntil the multiplexing. it says something like the audio file cannot be found. so i end up with nothing. not even a video. the FIRST time i tried this, windows gave me an error regarding BeSweet that it must be shut down. the 2nd time i ran "Start Conversion", it did not give me that error. i use the latest DVD2SVCD, and i use CCE SP 2.5. Please help

In the audio tab you have two options for audio extraction - VfW routines or internal routines.

Whichever yours is set to, try the other one and see if that helps. Since the free space on your disc doesn't change it is clear that the audio is not being extracted from your avi.

You might also wish to try the trick with Virtual Dub in the "AVI2*** fails (at some point)" sticky.
