I have recently upgraded my cpu from a 2.5GHZ (no HT) to a 3.2GHZ (with HT). Whereas before when IC8 was doing its backup, the cpu was at 100% usage, now its only at 50%. I assume thats because it sees the processor as 2 and only uses one of them. I'm sure others have seen this too but I cant seem to find any solutions in the search I did. Anyone know how to get IC8 to use all the cpu power without disabling HT.

Well, it's normal for programs using only one thread, so HT cannot work. There is no way to get IC to use it. But you do not have to disable HT. If you want to limit IC to one virtual CPU only, you can do it with the task manager. If you right click on the process, you can select the CPU the program should use.
