View Full Version : Divide by Zero error

I am attempting to convert an Xvid encoded AVI with AC3 sound back to DVD. After AVI2DVD 122b2 extracts the audio and TMPGEnc encodes the video, it attampts to use mplex to combine the video and audio and results in a 'Divide by Zero' error. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

I did look through the FAQs and did quite a bit of reading but found nothing that helps.

Thanks

I got this when checking "Use Source Audio" in the audio tab.
When I have done further tests I shall make a report to the author.
As it says in the readme for the latest version, if you use this you're on your own.

For now, if you wish to keep source audio in an AVI, use the method in Q74 of the FAQ. If this happened without "Use source audio" checked, please post your DVD2SVCD and BeSweet logfiles.

Cheers
Nick

Yes, I have 'use source audio' checked. I did not know Q74 still applied to build 2. Is there any other way to include the AC3 5.1DD audio in the final DVD or is the Q74 workaround the only current way?

Thanks!

Until I (or someone) has time to track down the problem with Use Source Audio and develop a workaround, it appears Q74 is the only way.

I get that too. I'll fix this now.
