Does the SDK uses multiple CPU like the cmdline version? I'm asking coz I know the SDK and the cmdline handle things a little differently. If no, do I have to write my code to handle multiple processor?

there should be no difference in how the encoder spawns threads. It detects if there are more than one (virtual) CPU independent on whether it is used in SDK or cmd line.
