CCE Basic and quality_prec

I just noticed that the ECL files for CCE Basic 2.69 seem to be using the scaled quality_prec values for SP 2.5, and not the value actually entered in the dialog of DVD-RB. A movie set to 16 in DVD-RB has pict_qchar=24 and another one that I changed to 20 says pict_qchar=31 in the ECL file.

DVD-RB uses a scale of 0-64 (CCS SP 2.6x settings).
CCE Basic and CCE 2.50 uses 0-100.
In the ECL for CCE Basic an CCE2.50 you'll find the value you've set in DVD-RB multiplied by 1.56

Good enough for me. I wasn't aware that Basic used the same scale as 2.5 so that explains it. In fact the more I think about it the stupider it sounds (not doubting you or anything) because the ability to change it wasn't even added to Basic until recently. :rolleyes:
