As title. But I want it to display the menu first. The menu is still there (verified by going to root menu in windvd and in player), it's just that it's being bypassed.
What do I need to change in the ifo? I assume this would mean a chance in VIDEO_TS.ifo. I can provide the proper ifo data if needed. Thank you.

read this How to get menus back? (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?threadid=81037)
you would have to chance the first jump you see in the First Play PGC to your root menu.

I read the thread that was link and the suggestion is to make command 1 to "{30 06 00 01 01 83 00 00}". I did just that and left command 2 and command 3 untouched. Well playing the DVD in ifoedit, it just stopped.
I also tried deleting the other commands and leaving the JumpSS command only. The DVD still won't play.
any ideas?

Do you have intro Titles before the Main menu? In PgcEdit, I would do a "Blank all VTS Titles" and "Kill PGC Playbacks" on those.

Yes I have intro videos (e.g. FBI and others) on the DVD.
If I blanked them, would it fix my problem?
ps. Can I use titlesetblanker to blank the VTSes? or to fix the problem I have to use PgcEdit?

Give it a try. Your DVD and it's commands are almost identical to my Van Wilder Unrated, Region 1. Is it a Artisan DVD?
By the way, the tasks I mention in my previous post are associated with PgcEdit.

I tried the "blanking VTSes using PgcEdit" from this thread -->> http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=81112.
VTS1 and VTS2 are the FBI and intro videos. I blank them and PgcEdit says the length are "0:00" after blanking them.
Well basically this suggestion didn't work. Any more ideas? :)
Thanks

This is from your first post. Have you done any changes to files at this time? Are these files freshly ripped?
If this is a commercial DVD, what movie are you working on? Maybe, someone else here may have done a successful backup of it.
