Two DVD9 to one DVD9 projects.

Now that DVD dual layer burners and media are out, and DVD9 to DVD9 backups are possible, are there any software authors working on projects enabling back-up of two DVD9 to one DVD9 complete features retaining full menu functionality?

For example, using DVD-RB to create two backups and burn them to one DVD9 without having to re-do both titles and probably losing menu functionality. I haven't read anything to date on any programs that could possibly be used to do this.

Uh, in theory, it sounds good, but does anybody know what the realistic expected lifetime for a dvd-9 is? I have plenty of dvd-5's that are now useless.

if you try to backup 2 DVDs to 1 DVD-R then it's technically irrelevant if the 2 DVDs are 9gig ones and also wether the DVD-R is a 8.5gig one or a 4.5gig one!
There are some (short :D ) threads about backing up 2 DVDs to one DVD-R. Today there is simly no solution for this.
