In the Bitrate Section of DVD2svcd I've selected Min.avg 1600 & Max.avg 2230 are these the highest settings for a 2 CD 800MB or are you only supposed to do one disk at a time...

Hi.
I'm not sure I quite understand your problem.
You're trying to convert a DVD movie to 2x800MB CDR's, right?
If so, leave the boxes at the bottom of the bitrate tab alone. Uncheck the "min average" checkbox. As for setting the other boxes, see the bitrate section of the guide here (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvd2svcd-basic.htm)
This should explain how you get the software to convert your movie to the desired number of CD's.
Hope this helps. If not, get back to us and try to be a little more specific about the problem.
Cheers

Sorry about that it was for DVD2SVCD ....I just set everything to 2 cds...
But I want the min average Bitrate checked as well to ensure quality.
Will it oversize the encode?
And I've created the same DVD Menus to transfer to my SVCD Menu but don't know how big that will be (simple menu+chapter+animation)

There is a possibility of oversizing with Min Ave checked.
If you are using CCE, read up on quality-based encoding with the D2SRoBa Plugin. There is a sticky over in the advanced forum and a FAQ in the stickies here in the basic forum. These should help you.
