DEC60 is reputation that detection accuracy generally must not compare with others. Moreover, in order to make it 60fps or 120fps, the combined use with AVI60.exe is required.

If it uses in 60fps input :D, although AVIUTL is required AFS (Automatic Field Shift) Plug-in thinks that it is the maximum major candidate in the present condition.

If you want to add VFR to something, look at the code for DVD2AVI - specifically where it determines if the frames are NTSC or FILM. When using DVD2AVI on certain rips (like Cowboy Bebop), you can watch it flip back and forth between NTSC and FILM as it hits each section. This same detection should drive the VFR code of whatever you are doing.

For my a good estart point is in neruon's DGbob and Dupfiltrer the proces is esay, first use dgbob an you have a double frame rate and later with dupfilter you can identifi wat frane is duplicate.

DG bob with a litle modification can make a good 30 to 60fps converter, intested of meke the not present lines wuith the previous field you can use de matching tecnic in decomb no make it more acurrate the generation of the new frames.

Well, that'll only work if your source is an MPEG-2 stream *and* is properly flagged, as DVD2AVI is working from the field order and repeat flags stored in the stream... if someone just took an already telecined master and encoded that it'll happily report 99+% NTSC, even though it really ought to be FILM...

@Sirber

How is it that you make fake 60fps extension of ITVFR ? :D

Although it is realized by AFS (Auto Field Shift), seemingly, there is no intention that for the moment the author of AFS exhibits source. :(

Although HelixProducer should just receive a 120fps input! :devil:
