Backed up my copy of Cold Mountain using shrink 3.2, default settings, to an image file. I have tried burning this on 3 different dvd-rs, but my player won't play it. I converted back to dvd files and used ifoedit to get vts sectors. This now plays after a lot of disc spinning by my player. I'm not sure what is going wrong as this is the first time I have had any problem with a Shrink project. Any ideas?

what are you using to burn the files?

dvddecryptor, always. Also used 2x burn as 4x can be hit and miss, Disks are verbatim and dvd master, both never failed before. Just an unusual problem, and I wonder if the iso produced was somehow non compliant.

You may want to try saving to the hard drive. Make sure you have create VIDEO_TS folder checked. Then try burning with nero.

Use Daemontools to mount the image as a virtual drive and test in your fav player on your PC.

Hi,
I have the same problem with that title.
Everything goes fine but when trying to see it on a dvd player, it don't work. Even on WinDVD have an error.
Can you post please what do you do for "patching" it with ifoedit?
Thank you
