Would it be possible to make DVDRebuilder work with CCE SP Retail?

I tried it out, but CCE SP Retail version don't eat the generated ECL file for various reasons.

EclCCE is supposed to get support for CCE SP Retail soon, but I am not sure that will fix the issue of obvious differences in ECL files between Trial and Retail version...and EclCCE should not be needed with Retail CCE SP anyway...so would it be possible to have DVDRebuilder work with CCE SP Retail?

What ver. of CCE SP retail are you using? What ver. of DVD-RB are you using?

If I had to guess I would say that you are using too new a version of CCE SP. Only up to 2.67.00.27 is supported in DVD RB. Or maybe its 2.67.00.23, I cant remember.

DVD-RB 0.56:

CCE SP 2.67.00.27 Trial + EclCCE 1.81 works
CCE SP 2.67.00.27 Retail + EclCCE 1.81 fails (because of EclCCE)
CCE SP 2.67.00.27 Retail directly fails (incompatible ECL format)

Yea I think that Jdobbs said something about adding support for 2.67.00.27 (Im asssuming that will fix the retail version ecl incompatibilities)in the next release of RB. So I guess we have to wait.

Yesterday in another topic I asked jdobbs on CCE SP 2.67.00.27 support. He told me that it will be implemented in v. 0.58.

thank god. I only have the newest retail version and a huge number of dvds to backup and this problem was holding me back.

Plus the eclcce author is way too busy to implement anything at the moment.
