Combine 2 DVDs to 1

I don't seem to find this question answered before, but...
I used DVDFab to split a DVD into 2 DVD-Rs, with the menus in Disc 1. Now that I've lost the original, i'm thinking of combining both Discs into 1 again and try to burn it as a DVD-DL instead. The problem is, I don't seem to be able to join back the 2 DVD-Rs (while still retaining the full original menu). Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Hmm, seems to be creating a new menu rather than keeping the current one... Anyone else got any suggestions??
