Hello,
when doing a divx3 rip with Gordian Knot I get Error 103 and an enourmous file (1gb for a 3 minute movie). The file contains only weird colors when playing?
Can anyone help me?

@Sirber: you should have been more helpful than that...
@ripper64: It "sounds" like the codec wasn't available for use during the encoding. The weird colors may just be a colorspace issue. But since you haven't included your logfile, there's no way to really know.
Based on the guess about the codec, please check to see that DivX 3.11 alpha is installed properly. Start VdubMod, select Video...Compression, and see if "DivX ;-) MPEG-4 Fast Motion" and "DivX ;-) MPEG-4 Slow Motion" appear in the list of codecs).
If it's installed properly, then: :logfile:
[EDIT] I/O Error 103 can occur for a variety of reasons, such as not having AviSynth installed. For more on Error 103, use ye olde searche buttone.

Yes, the codec wasn't installed. Somehow I got the notion that Nandub had an integrated encoder for divx3, so the codec wasn't required.
Another question: Are those annoying bad frames or other errors caused by encoding failure or due to downloading from P2P?
I noted that those errors only occur in DivX3.11 files, by checking it with VirtualDub Scan Videostream for errors or other error-checking tools. So this makes me think it's due to poor encoding.
On the other hand: I downloaded some movies two times, and both files had errors on different places, so this makes me think it's due to poor transfer.
And why do those bad frames only occur to DivX3.11 files? Have other codecs some error corrector active while playing the file?
So coult anyone explain my questions, cos I'm a bit confused about it.
