I get this error in Scenarist when i try to import the movie.
Warning This Video [ D:\Thunder1_work\VTS01\VTS__01_P01.4~3_1.NOPULL.MPV ] has different duration.
Error The scene ( VTS_01_PGC_01, VTS01_vobid01_cellid06 ) timecode ( 00:44:57:13 ) is bigger than video duration.
Error Importing failed
I saw this error on the massive Scenarist Error FAQ, but there wasn't a solution for it in the FAQ...
Anybody know how to fix this ???
Thanks guys !

Sounds to me like your encode failed... or could be a ReAuthorist glitch.... RA has problems w/ certain movies (more and more common lately i'm afraid)
create a new project and manually drop the .m2v in and see what it shows for duration.. if it's WAY shorter then the original, something happened during the re-encode

I took about 4 retrys and it finally encoded without a prob. Iam now doing the 2nd disc of the series and its happening again. It's very annoying and frustrating to have to keep reencoding. I cant believe there isn't a bug fix for this error.

What version of CCE are you using?
what version of batchccews / docce4u are you using?
could be an issue w/ the ecl's

2.5 and i are arch enemies.. I know people use it successfully but it never seamed to like my old cpu. things have gone so well with 2.66+ that i havent bothered trying 2.50 for regular use again since ive updated cpu and ram.
regaurding the error...

I heavily use big3 and i cant remember the last time i saw that error. i use latest batchccews/latest scenaid/latest doitfast4u/ nearly the latest cce...

I just grabed VERSION 2.67.00.27 of CCE and DoCCE4U is telling me thats its not capatible with that version. I tried to install BatchCCEWS but i get this damn error
CCE Executable associated with EclCCE is not supported by BatchCCEWS
Please reconfigure EclCCE and restart BatchCCEWS.
whats the deal with that error ?. I also get that with version 2.5 CCE installed.

well a simple search in the forums using "ecl" and "1.8" brought up this:
EclCCE: Adds ECL support to CCE 2.66/2.67 trial

forum search is your friend

Whats the highest Version of CCE supported in DoCCE4U ?

i believe 2.66
newest ECL should work for you... make sure you put ecl.exe & other files into your batchcce install directory
Try deleting the ecl.ini and running ecl.exe directly to make sure your pointing to the right file
also make sure you have latest BatchCCEWS
This method will NOT work w/ docce4u as cce versions are hardcoded into the .exe because ecls are different for each version of cce

What version of DOITFAST4U do you need to work with your ScenAid ? Iam using version 1.4.0 and your ScenAID isn't listed in the post processing section.

any version will work... you just need to manually run it after demuxing w/ doitfast4u

unfortunatly there probably isn't much you can do for that issue right now...
Zeul is hard at work getting rid of errors like this so just be patient right now for a new build of NuMenu

The quality actually wasn't bad, it looked the same to vol 1.I am very suprised. Only took a half hour at 1 pass, compared to 3 and a half hours at 5 pass

HMMM, i tried out another flick tonight, an anime flick and i got the CCE encoding error once again. I have done many many many dvds and i could understand this error hapening to a certain set of dvds but not totaly different dvds. Whats the damn odds that i get this error twice in a row from two different dvds and never have had this error before. Sounds very fishy. Listen to this thou. I was having a prob with the CCE encoding Error on the dvd right before i had to place a new mobo in the comp. The first attempt of ripping the problematic dvd after the fresh reinstall of windows and all my programs worked without a hitch. It wasn't untill my 2nd attempt to rip a dvd that i got that CCE encoding error again. What do you guys think ?
