I have an authoring program that doesnt support 16:9 so I go to IFOEDIT & change the IFOs in VIDEO_TS to 16:9 everytime they have 4:3
But when I go to burn them using NERO I get a "DVD Video files compliance test failed The resulting DVD might be unplayable; do you want to continue." error.
Can anybody know whats the cause of this.
There used to be a "how to " guide on this at the ifoedit sight but its now disappeared.

I have searched the sight for solutions to this but nobody else seems to have the same problem.

This Nero warning has nothing to do with the aspect ratio.

Does this warning exists if you try to burn your original files, without the IfoEdit pass? (Hint: burn without DVD-R in the drive to see the Nero warnings without wasting a DVD)

Do you have empty (0 bytes) menu VOB files? If so, try to delete them, then Get VTS Sectors again...

Alternatively, you may try to use PgcEdit to change the aspect ratio.

So, try the last solution: PgcEdit :)
I will be interested in knowing if it works.
