"JUICE is 4 times quicker than broadband"

"giving you a blistering 2MB (2000kbps) connection for FREE."

"If you would like to give away JUICE broadband and earn either £27GBP, $48USD, $64AUSD, 39Euro or $74NZD per client, click here."

"JUICE is a software download which utilises a unique 23 patent approved compression technology"

- it's free and they offer you money for getting more customers
- its a software compression. Hello! how is that thing going to losslessly compress ZIPs, PNGs or audio/video like Xvid by a factor of at least 40 ?
-sidenote: my cable is 2MBit ..so how can 2MBit be 4 times faster than 2Mbit

all you had needed were to read the "tell me more" page

Or maybe... It's magic, and they "overclock" your 56k!

I found it more humorous than believable. I just wanted to share it with you guys!!

Anyone have the guts to try it?

looks like BS to me. 56k is already compressed

[edit]

I remember seeing a website with something like this one about:

"50% more compression using existing video compression technology"

lol

Lots of dial up providers are offering these types of services. They basically pre-cache you links (you're sitting on a page, it will download the pages behind every other link on that page, and so on for so many generation of links.) The data is compressed so your modem still downloads at the same speed, you just have less data to download. The software that I've used had a slider to adjust how much compression is used. On full setting the entire internet becomes blurry and black and white, and the speed boost isn't even that much. And of course these services don't speed up anything except internet surfing. Useless.

AOL claims they will make your existing DSL line faster with their "six pipes" technology (whatever that is...)

IMO this is all just the same like Shell with their "V-Power" 100 Octane gas - it's a lot more expensive than normal gas, and if you really believe in it, your car will go faster ;)

Such protocol would be quite usefull...but it really doesn´t exist.
This is just like adam said:
They basically pre-cache you links and it can only speed up your web browsing up to 5x. Not your downloads or FTP connections.
