I'm trying to do the movie The Jackal, after going through the Prepare and Encode process, I click on Rebuild...it asks whether to allow deleting the original VIDEO_TS folder...if I say YES it continues but says:
"There is nothing to do!
DVD-RB couldn't locate appropriate files in working directory.
You must PREPARE and ENCODE first!"
If I say NO, it just brings me to the main screen, allowing me to click Rebuild again.
Well, obviously I've done the PREPARE and ENCODE already yet it keeps giving me the same message.

It sounds like your working directory is inside of your source directory or something like that. It should not be asking to delete original video_ts directory when you go to rebuild. I would make sure your source and working directories are far apart.

My working directory is NOT the same as my VIDEO_TS dir. It's in a completely different directory...both the VIDEO_TS and the Working Dir have their own folders and are in the root of the partition. I'm quite sure this error is not the user's fault error.
Movie is in E:\JACKAL\VIDEO_TS (decrypted using DVD Decryptor)
Working dir is in E:\TEMP5

F. A. Q. (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?threadid=74273)
This is your cure, I believe for 99.9%: :)
Q2. Do I need to use eclCCE.exe with DVD-RB?
A2. If you have a newer version of CCE that you have purchased, you don't need to use eclCCE. But if using CCE v2.50 (which is very popular) or any trial version -- yes, you must use eclCCE. Version 2.50 and trial versions do not support command line parameter passing and/or saving/loading of .ECL (CCE Project) files.
Q3. That brings up another point. If I use it, how?
A3. First install the eclCCE.EXE file in the same directory as CCE (usually it is found under "C:\Program Files\Custom Technology\..." (it changes by version after that). Then run the eclCCE.exe alone. The first time it runs it will require that you "point" it to your CCE executable. You have to do this! Failure to do so makes it not work and make you angry. After that is completed -- and this is important -- point the CCE path located in DVD-RB's Setup dialog to eclCCE.EXE, NOT the CCE executable.

Yeah, I know. I've already figured that out. Too bad it cost me so much time!
Thanks anyway.

I'm getting this same error despite doing every in the setup.
My Source is a decrypted mounted ISO.
source = C:
Working = C:\LOTR
CCE 2.67
AVISYNTH 2.5
Rebuilder .63
EClCCE on Desktop
CCE on desktop
I tried taking the program off of one vclick mode and that still doesnt help. The weird thing is the very first time I used the program It worked semi-fine. It went through all the steps but the DVD was 800mb under sized. So I deleted the program. Went through the setup again to make sure everything was right, but now it never rebuilds.

"Source = C:"? You need to create a directory to hold your input files or have it mounted. If you copy all your IFO, BUP, and VOB files into the root ( C: ) directory DVD-RB will see any other files in the root as contributing to the original size (and undersize by that amount)... bad idea. Create an input directory. If you have an ISO mounted on a drive called C: it would assuredly have to be "C:\VIDEO_TS\"

That shoucld have said
source = H:\VIDEO_TS
The C: is where the iso is. Above is the source after being mounted so H: is a virtual drive.
