Does anyone know what encoding mode to use for the XviD MPEG-4 Codec if I am trying to make a video. And also in general, the advanced options to use. Everytime I use 1 Pass CBR my video is not in sync with the audio file and when I use 2 Pass - 2nd Pass Int. the video can't render because it encounters a problem. So I was wondering what settings any of you use to sync the audio and video files together perfectly.

Well, you're on the Doom9-forums here, why not doing what you agreed to on signing up here?

READ the guides at least.

XviD's options here: http://www.doom9.org/xvid-vdub-final.htm

Make sure you're using recent version of the codec - "2nd pass int" is only available in some ancient xvids.

As for video/audio desynchronisation, it's not video codec's fault. Generally, video codec doesn't control neither its framerate nor sound's rate, so can't create desynchronisation, unless CPU is not fast enough to decode.
