View Full Version : DivX Movies too saturated?

Hello,

I was just wondering why the DivX movies I create are always more color saturated than the actual DVDs. Or maybe WinDVD 5 desaturates the DVDs... who knows.

I use Robot4Rip and Gordian Knot for Transcoding, with all the standard settings from the guides. And I use MPC for playback.

Cordially

Marcus

AFAIK WinDVD 5 desaturates movies by default. The "CRT" color settings profile uses a negative saturation value.
