help!! - i have justbought v-stream xpert pvr plus video capture on set-up it says to link my vcr to the svid output - i think my vcr must be ancient cos the lead would only fit in the tv output which doesnt show any images from the video - can i buy a lead that is a normal vcr connection on one end and svid on the other?

Assume U.S.
You can buy a 'cheap' video switch that will convert from composite (regular TV) to svideo. $25 Amazon/Target/Walmart/RadioShack ...
I'm surprized your card does not have an RCA input. BTW, Unless you need a switch, I'd say your money is better spent on a svhs vcr. Bet you can get one for < $100.
