Hi, sorry if this has already been posted or if it's in the wrong place... but what's the best way to demux vobs, and mux the files after ntsc2pal conversion to vob again??
and do i have to demux all vob files and then it'll work or do i have to edit something in the other files also??
Thnx in advance..

@jojo15
You can try VObEdit or ReJig (in File Mode) for demuxing streams. You can demux with DVD Decrypter but only in PGCs with IFO mode. That is if you want just the movie part.

thnx,
i used dvddecryptor to demux all the pgc's.
i want this because i need to convert the movie from ntsc2pal, the menu included if possible.
dvddecryptor also creates ifo's, do i need them to maintain the menu's etc?
or can i throw them away and just replace the vobs from the original dvd (ntsc) with the pal vobs?
thnx

Yeah, i think it's gonna be difficult too...
Thnx for your help anyway!

Just as an aside.... when decrypting with DVD Decryptor, there are three choices for Stream Processing,... I tried DEMUX, but the resultant m2v stream won't play back in Encore... (only the first few frames)... when I use the RAW mode, the m2v plays fine in Encore.
Does anyone know the difference between Demux and Raw.

Good question,
i was also wondering why i couldn't play m2v's when i "demux"-ed them..
Just received an answer from the progammer who wrote
"Demux takes the m2v packet on its own.
Raw takes the entire sector that contains the m2v packet - so basically it's like a VOB. "
If that makes sense !!??*!
