I'd like to know if there is a tool, or a way, that I can demux specific VOB IDs inside a group of VOB files.
EX.:
I have VTS_01_0.VOB...VTS_01_5.VOB, where ...0.VOB is my menus, and ...1.VOB to ...5.VOB are my movie files. Inside that sequence of 5 VOBs, I have 3 different movies, but I've got 6 VOB IDs. VOB ID 1 is an intro movie, VOB ID 2 is a Company logo, and VOB ID 3 thru 6 is the main movie... I'd like to use a tool like VOBEdit to demux the last 3 VOB IDs into one m2v file and one ac3 file, but avoiding to demux VOB ID 1 and VOB ID 2.
Is there a way to do it ???
Thanks in advance...

I would think if you copied the three required VOB's to a diferent directory and renamed em 01 02 and 03, Vobedit would then do what you want?

The problem is that the movie is scattered aroud all VOBs. VTS_01_1.VOB contains VOB ID 1, VOB ID 2 and VOB ID 3. VTS_01_2.VOB contains VOB ID 4. VTS_02_3.VOB contains VOB ID 5. The remainind files VTS_01_3.VOB ... VTS_01_5.VOB contains VOB ID 6. How can I make VOBEdit ignore VOB ID 1 and VOB ID 2, and then start at VOB ID 3 and go to the end ???
Thank you 4 your response...

In your case, I would use IfoEdit. It's a simple process. Here's the gameplan.
______________________________
1. Open VTS_01_0.IFO.
______________________________
2. Click on "VOB Extras" button
______________________________
3. Check only these in "Options". Keep the VOB EXPERTS options as they are.
X Strip Stream's
X Strip VobID's
X Correct Vob-Unit (Navigation Pack) pointers in VOB-files
X Correct original IFO files
X Create new IFO files (Movie only)
______________________________
4. Browse to your Destination directory and press OK.
______________________________
5. Check the audio you want to keep and then click on "Strip it" button.
______________________________
6. Check only the VOB-IDs you want to keep and then click on "Strip it" button
______________________________
7. In your target directory, you will now have only the video you need with the original VOBids renumbered but it really doesn't matter. Close IfoEdit. You will now process your VOBs through VOBedit.
______________________________
8. Open up VTS_01_1.VOB with VobEdit
______________________________
9. Click on "Demux" button
______________________________
10. Check these options and click on OK.
X Demux all Video Streams
X Demux all Audio Streams
______________________________
11. Click on "Save" to save in default directory or browse to another directory and save.
______________________________
Now you have your m2v and ac3 to use with whatever tool you want. ;)

EXC:D:DLENT!
I've been in and out (more out) of the backup scene to concentrate on personal stuff and it feels good to write a guide to help the newbies once in a while. I'm glad it worked out for you. :D
