I'm using Zoom Player 4.00 WMV

1. How I can prevent ZP to resize non-anamorphic video material? It always resizes it to match with full horizontal resolution. BSplayer has option to prevent resizing but I prefer ZP.

2. How I can change resolution to 640x480 with ZA? If not then how this can be switched easily? Windows doesn't support it anymore.

3. What differences there are between VMR9 windowless and VMR9 windowed?

1) I always use ffdshow for this kind of thing, you must (should?) be able to do it in zoomplayer but I don't know how.

2) You can access 640x480 in the video-properties, settings, advanced, adapter, list all modes. You can also set zoomplayer to change the resolution: In advanced config mode go to values & tools - playlist & resolution.

3) From Blight on the ZoomPlayer forums:
In one, microsoft controls the window handle, in the other ZP. The problem is that there's a bug in the code for windowless which HOPEFULLY microsoft will fix in DirectX v9c.

From Zoomplayer on-line documentation:
Due to a major bug in DirectX-9, you should probably used the VMR9 Windowed mode when experimenting with VMR9 as the windowless support is broken in DirectX and you won't be able to navigate the DVD Interface using the mouse until microsoft fixes this issue.

Flux:
You may mean the "restrict AR to height" setting in options / aspect ratio.
