Hi i've started to use Ifoedit to remove unwanted FBI warnings and unwanted language selection menus and I get rid of them and play it off the HD with a software player and all is fine. When I either go to re-encode with dvd2one or even burn with Nero I get errors saying ifo's dont match the vobs in dvd2one and in Nero dvd file alocation failed and read error... Im using Ifoedit and menuedit... What am I doing wrong and is there an easy fix?

use vobblanker or similar to remove the parts you don't want, or maybe you just need to do get vts sectors. not entirely sure, depends on the method you use.

when removing languages from menu's it's a bit more difficult, as the commands need changing and the old menu vob-ids need to be changed to the corresponding remaining menu vob-ids.

All im doing is delete playback if its in the language menu bit on some trailers and logos.. then doing the same but but doing the precommand way if its in a VTS and then finally adding a precommand to the language menu (the one at the start of the dvd that has a list of languages then goes to the main menu when you choose one) that simply bypasses it... Then I delete the bits that arnt played with menuedit...

i wouldn't use menuedit to delete (i use vobblanker for titles, or if menu's need removing then dvd stripper), and also have u tried a get vts sectors on your ifo's after using menuedit?

I think ive found the problem... I only did get VTS sectors after I had edited the whole thing and not after each edit. Is that the problem?

don't think so, after u've completely done editing should be enough... just use another program to remove stuff :)

I can only advice you if you want to get rid of those irritating FBI messages to use DVD-remake.

I heard about this program only 2 days ago , and I must say : I can't miss it already.

All you need to do is open your VIDEO_TS file (already ripped 2 HD) and let the program analyse it.

1/Click on the 6th icon on top of the screen (advanced mode).
2/Then you will see the layout of your DVD .
3/Click on the "+" of VIDEO MANAGER
4/Select VMG Program Chain , and you'll see those FBI messages and other stuff in the upper right corner.
5/Right click on any preview (FBI message etc....) you want to remove ,
and select "HIDE BLOCK" (if succesfull you'll see that the size of the preview has dropped to +/_ 0,03 Mb.
6/If you're satisfied with the result the only thing left to do is ,
click FILE --> EXPORT DVD --> Sellect destination and ENTER.

Afterwards you can preview the changed MOVIE with WINDVD , POWERDVD ....

So , that's all

Hope , It helped you Scenicsport
