audio dropouts with dvd-rb

jdobbs did have some test cell material which he was working on earlier this month. I have not heard back from him since he mentioned that he was delving into the details of the cell to see if there were any obvious problems. Since then I have heard nothing from him so I do not know what is happening. Looking at the changelog for v 0.56 I don't see anything that looks encouraging for audio drop out issues.

Perhaps the man himself can clarify if v0.56 has some changes that might fix the problem or whether its still on the to-do list. I really hope so, many of us have been banging on about the problem for some time now...........
