I wanna remove copyright warnings like in this guide (http://users.pandora.be/rudy.stremersch/rcopy.html).
My 'Menu language Unit' section is:
Menu 1: [Title-Menu] (entry PGC)(programs 1) (Cells 1) (uses VOB-IDs: 1)
and nothing else.
My VIDEO_TS.VOB containes:
-copyright warning
-Warner welcome screen
-MENU
If I press the button 'Delete playback' (in IfoEdit) it plays 'copyright warning' and 'Warner welcome screen' and after that is stops.
What should I do to remove copyright warnings and leave Menu.

guess the warnings are in another menu or in a separate VTS, have a look at your vob files (open them in vobblanker, dgindex or a player) and find where the warnings are that u want to remove.

Thanks burnout, it was in VTS_03.01.VOB

Hi again.
What if warnings are in a few separate VTS's,
and each of them have only one vob-id (only vob-id:1)?
After 'Delete playback' standalone stops in this vts.
You can give PgcEdit a try. Select the title you want to 'remove' and then use the Macro "Kill PGC Playback". It will only modify the commands and not remove the PGC-VobID association.

Hi,
I am backing up Back To The Future 2. First dropped out all of the advertisements, copyright warnings and extras then hided the non-functional buttons. After re-encoding with DVDRebuilder and CCE, I have troubles with playback of the main menus (unfortunately I missed a preview before encoding, but it's 15 minutes to give it a try if you think it would help). The motion parts run without problem but the pictures are just white background under the buttons!
I used RM v. 1.4.6. Played a lot with link commands, no help. When button menus are directly linked, they appear OK, but if these same menus are linked after the motion menus, only white background.
Thanks in advance for any help.

@erdoke
try copying the original menu vob into your back up(over righting the problem one) then do a get vts sectors with ifoedit. see if that fixes it. then if the backup is too big just use srink to compress the menu only.

Thanks for the advice it sounds logical. I will give it a try.

Hi erdoke :)
thought I'd tell the people at Doom9 that your issue was down to the removal of the layer break in the menu's just in case anyone also has the same issue
there is a manual workaround also by adding the layer break back using PGCEdit that erdoke found and used as I used Ifoedit which takes a little longer

Hi MackemX,
I was about to post it anyway, but you were faster.;)
One more THX for the help.
I am sorry that my way is only a "workaround". How would you add a Layer Break back to a cell (of course sg that not a workaround)?:)
Do you think that it is a common issue when backing up DVDs? I will try BTTF3 in the next couple of days.

no need to be sorry as it's a very handy workaround ;). I'd use PGCEdit to edit it now as it's rather simple and faster than Ifoedit. I'm pretty sure Dimad will sort this out when he's back from his holidays :)
this will probably only be an issue with certain DVD's and chances are that BTTF3 is the same as it acts the same way for me when playing with PowerDVD

Yes Maestro, it was exactly the same. Just three times modifying the Layer Break and it plays perfect.:)
