RB 0.56 Flicking Pictures & Corrupted Pixels in the end of the film

My source is:
VTS_03 (879mb) = (9 Trailers (9 Titles), Title 8 - Show Flicking Pictures & Corrupted Pixels.)
VTS_06 (754mb)
VTS_07 (5827MB) = Main Movie (Total 48 Chapters, Flicking Pictures & Corrupted Pixels Start from Chapter 45 til end of the film)

-The Main Movie problem (Flicking Pictures & Corrupted Pixels) only occurred at my stand alone player : pioneer DV-505 & DV-515, it play normal in my pc using windvd.
(i always test my final disc at my stand alone after encoding, i dont trust pc software player, even the final disc have problem, pc software dvd player will still play it normally. but not in stand alone player.)

-The trailer #9 problem (Flicking Pictures & Corrupted Pixels) occurred at both software & stand alone player.

-Before that i'm using RB 0.55b, im not experienced any of this problem.
But in RB 0.55b, at some disc when the first play movie (like intro & FBI Warning ...) show 'STILL' in my stand alone player, after that it will not jump to the 'Title Menu' it just freeze there(even i press my remote menu button.)
And i've to use DVDReMake to edit the first play command and point it directly to the 'Title Menu' and re-export the disc.

-This is my first post after using RB from version 0.53, i hope this will help the author fixing the problem.

at last, sorry for my grammar, i hope everyone who reading this post will understand my explanation.
thanks for making RB better and Better, its a fantastic program.;)

At the end of the movie, plays fine in pc dvd player, messes up on standalone (i.e. burnt).

THis is the telltale signs of bad media, ,try reburning the identical file to an rw to test

Well, i'm running the 2nd times encoding of the same movie now, but this time i'm using v.0.55b. will post the result later on.

- i've burned the final video_ts twice,
1st using memorex +RW (2.4x) media
2nd using BeALL 4x -R media, result the same problem, so it not the media issue or bad burned.
*Using Pioneer A07

- and the trailer #9 that i mention at my first post, had the same issue in both windvd and 2 pioneer SA (DV-505 & DV-515).

Try re-encode the same disc with RB v0.55b, same problem occurred.
but the original was no problem at all. strange..
Anyway, thanks for the help.

What did you use to burn it? I'd suggest using latest Nero6 and of course the "DVD VIDEO" template. Problems like you said with the FBI logo not going into the menu cant be due to RB since it doesnt process the small files at all.

@VamPIR

Same experience on my side, I mean in the past, with Memorex...

Now I am using higher quality supports (I don't know if this kind of "advertisement" is allowed, but anyway I mean Vebatim or something like that...).

All problems vanished...

I have also a Pioneer burner like yours; try using it at the minimum speed; it takes a lot of time, but it could be very helpful even with problematic media, for using them instead of trowing'em away...

Cheers,
SD

@XMEN3
i'm very sure that is not a media problem.
i have done many disc using the same media (BeALL,one of the best blank dvd-r media in the market)
*i just finish transcoding the same disc using recode2,
the final disc play normal,and no corrupted pixel like what i get in RB.
This is the only dvd i got corrupted when using RB.

@Joergen
it only happen in certain dvd not all,
like certain studio releases,
and look like it only happen with some dvd that
the first play is a 'still' frame (which show in my SA)
it just freeze there and will not jump to the menu.

Wasnt there discussion in the One-click forum concerning DVDShrink and the "copyright warning infinite loop" or something. This was apparently with some NTSC discs that had a certain type of warning screen and shrink was at fault.

Well, i have another disc got the corrupted pixel problem at the end of the film again,
and this time after finish play the movie (ending) it wont jump back to the main menu and just sit there, the timing already stop running (show at my SA),have to use menu button to bring it back to the main menu.

I did update my cce sp to version v2.67.00.27, before that i used v2.67.00.23 with RB 0.55b and never had this problem.

I'm gong to try using cce sp 2.67.00.23 and RB 0.56 to re-encode the same disc again, see what is the result.

thanks for the reply.

i re-write my final project using another RW that i just bought,
the result is no more corrupted pixel, so is my RW problem, i guess the RW had gone bad due to so many times write & erase, i thought they can re-write up to 1000 times :(...

but at some disc when finished play the movie (ending)(Using RB 0.56), it still not jump to the main menu automatically, it also happen in bonus scene, it wont jump back to the previous menu, have to manually press the remote menu button.

thanks for reading this.

Forum moderator please remove this thread, cause the subject said RB 0.56 problem with corrupted pixel, but its not, is mine RW problem.

thanks.
