I think it should be a easy fix, just replacing besweet with CoreAAC.

Heh, ever thought about what app did the final muxing? ;)
Besides besweet is perfectly capable of producing AAC audio.

It might be kinda cool to have more tools to encode and mux Mpeg4 video and AAC audio streams together...
However, the generic container to put these two streams together in is .MP4
...It's the only sensible option ;)

I think MP4 container is the same as AVI. It sucks anyway. It's impossible to perfectly sync video with audio.
I'm only using MKV format now.
As for hardware, I would prefer HTPC. I have an Athlon XP with NForce 2 Soundstorm. Nevertheless, the new AC3Filter software realtime AC3 encoding is promising. Computer hardware is becoming cheaper and cheaper. A 2.8G P4 with Motherboard is only around $120 now (on sale at frys).

If you're having sync problems it must down to the way you're generating your encodes :(
Mpeg4 video with AAC audio in an MP4 container compliment each other perfectly :D
