Not sure how to add these subs...

hi..

Firstly i got 2 x .avi (a film split) with the substitle files (2x .idx and 2x .sub) i can play each avi with substitles in BSplayer with no problem (something called 'directvobsub' shows in my taskbar)

I wanna place the 'whole' film on dvd with subtitles, i've used nero-vision express to make a whole film and burn to my HDD with a menu, works but obviously no subs...can i do something now after there on my HDD or before hand?

please advise, cheers

you'll need first to convert your idx+sub to srt format (i recommend you use SubRip for that, there's a guide for it on doom9)...later you'll need to merge it into one file, note that the second file begins from time zero, so you'll need to synch it...best tool for this would be "subtitles workshop"
then you should follow one of the guides here on how to add subs to a dvd (use the IFO method imo)
