When you have a lower number does it make it sharper then higher the sharper. :confused: can I turn it of if i targeting very high quatily bitrate.

All this value does is decide at what quant loop filtering will be applied... loop filtering being the source of the blurriness. If you set 0, you're causing every quant from 0 up to be filtered, if you set 31, no filtering is applied to any quants.

Where was that explanation ambiguous? Why was it necessary to create another thread on an entirely different forum?

Since you seems to do low bitrate, disabling inloop filter will result in massive big chroma squares attack :) For sharpening, enable HFE2 with Sharpen at 5 or 6.
