View Full Version : the options to skip parts inside an already re-authored DVD

well, i've re-authored a dvd using DVD-Maestro but it seems like one the final dvd i don't have the option to skip parts (like the FBI warning etc), on powerDVD the next, frwrd buttons are gray
now and of course i can't skip inside this vid, i've scanned through this forum for ours and all i could find is 2COOL's guide from here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=61238) but it doesn't seem to apply on this case...tried following it but it all got stuck, not the parts i want to be able to skip are on VIDEO_TS.VOB (in PGC_menu_7)and VTS_03_0.VOB (in the only pgc available)
the best i've managed to do is to make it that they won't be played at all, but i do want them but just the ability to skip inside of them

hi, what you want to do is clear all Prohibited User operations(p-up) you can use IfoEdit or PgcEdit can do this.

to see what p-up you have just open the ifo with ifoedit and go to your PGC in question (your case PGC_menu_7) and scroll down till you see Prohibited User operations double click and you can see all the different options. to clear just hit remove p-ups in ifoedit main window

with PgcEdit you will see it under utilities>Title Play Map Table. to clear them use Filter Prohibited User operations

just did that, and while it does open the pause button, it still doesn't let me skip it or move in it (tried both methods you've stated)
any other idea ?!
