I might seem strange to ask about bugged software from, but I have a reason; I think my old standalone DVD player suffers from The Chroma Upsampling Error (http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volume_8_2/dvd-benchmark-special-report-chroma-bug-4-2001.html) problem and I want to get some screen grabs from a broken and good MPEG-2 decoders to compare.
Here (http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volume_8_2/dvd-benchmark-special-report-chroma-bug-4-2001.html) it mentions that PowerDVD 3 has the bug, but the version I got bundled with my DVD burner is 5.0. Doubt you can still get a trial version of 3.0 from anywhere.
What other decoders have this bug, or can I deliberatly break the decoding by changing the interlace flag in the file or something?
