mmmm, recently, a friend of mine told me that he canīt make to work itīs Creative DXR3 card in WinXP.....I have and OLD (and trust me on this) DXR2 and works terrific with its WDM drivers in XP...but he says that when he watches the movie on the monitor, is all OK, but when he send the signal to the TV, the Creative Player freezes......i know that this is NOT the place to put a request for help, but i was reading all about XP, and, well, we just have a drivers conflict.......:P

Besides that, the latest drivers for DXR3 card are BETA since year 2k......mmmmmmm

Thanks for any info you can add.

PS. In w2k DXR3 card works fine!

You can also take the drivers for the realmagic hollywood plus card, both decoder cards are the same.

Get the drivers and the player right here:

i had a similar problem with my DXR3 when i first got it. it worked fine on VGA pass-through but when i'd switch to TV out it would play for a couple seconds and then freeze. i ended up calling creative. apparently, this is a known problem related to IRQ sharing. anyway, after i prevented it from sharing, it worked fine.
