For an assignment at school I need a whole lot of statistics pages from a site on the net. Which program would be the best to do this?
I'm not going to copy the whole doom9 site :D
Cheers

statistics pages? but then you don't need websites, you need access to webserver logs. webalizer is a good freeware to process server logs - it can handle multiple server types.
If it is a whole site you want to grab you could try:
http://www.softbytelabs.com/BlackWidow/
When I needed to do a similar thing, it was the only web ripper that worked properly for me (although it's hardly a great app).

I always use that one: httrack (http://www.httrack.com/).
Works always flawless for me...

If a command prompt does not scare you, WGET (http://www.gnu.org/software/wget/wget.html) is a nice tool to do this. There is a link to Windows binaries on this page.

Download studio is pretty good. All the features of a downlaod manager but for whole web sites. (its optimized for the whole site rather than one file)

30 day share ware . but i think you wont need 30 days to down load a few web sites.

Thanks heaps for your suggestions. I'll give them each a go. Doom9: by statistics I meant a site with statistics to do with economics.
I didn't mean website statistics.
Thank you

by statistics I meant a site with statistics to do with economics. I still don't follow. You want to know how many html pages, images, binary files, etc there are, their sizes and stuff like that? Downloading entire websites will eternally get you on the webmaster's shitlist if he notices.

I don't want to know any statistics about the actual website. I want to download actual webpages and graphs, images etc from a website. Copy large chunks of a website for offline browsing. The tools listed above were great thanks.

Yeah, I like it very much, too!
Its very nice that its open source, and a great feature is the ability to capture complex urls from your browser!
It even works with most dynamically generated pages, I'm frequently mirroring a page that is created with typo3, for example.
I always use that one: httrack.
And that was the first time I quoted a quote from myself ;)
Have a nice day!! (Sunny here in germany :) )
