hey guys, i want to buy a laptop and use it as a portable multimedia player. Since i want a 12" laptop and no matter how extensively i've searched the web, NONE has got native tv/out (only 15pin vga out), i might try using this cable:

I'm worried about the pretty much null non-interlaced (pc) to interlaced (tv) video conversion of this cable. The site states the laptop must support tv out, well, since no 12" laptop has tv out, will i see a bunch of non-interlaced crap in my tv screen with this cable? or will it play fine?

thnx for your help

cmon guys, really nobody knows what happens if you play deinterlaced video in a tv?? this is my theory on this cable, but maybe interlacing is as simple as some wiring, am i wrong?
