Dear Forum,

I really want to buy this player in the near future,
but please can tell me how do you prepare your CD which contain
DivX / XviD files ?

Which codec is "savely" supported by this player ?
DivX/XviD B-frame/Matrix/etc ?

Which audio format can be used for DivX/Xvid ?
Mp2/Mp3/Ac3 ?

Which container is supported by this player ?
AVI/MPEG4 ?

Is this player support XCD ?
I usually burn 790MB AVI file on 80mins CD-R with XCD.

How do you burn the files into CD ?
Is there any special rules for this ?

And all other related information which maybe useful.

Thank you.

I fit around 6 to 8 XVID/DIVX movies on average onto 1 DVD+R 4.7G disc. They all get burned as data (joliet) Mode 1 just like mp3's. AC3 are supported and if you use a DIVX certified template for encoding, the movie will always play. Some Xvids need to be tested first and in general, use gspot or Virtualdub and make sure that audio is compressed and that number of audio frames are relatively equal to number of video frames. Also, it's best to keep the bit rate at 900bps and lower for Xvid.
