I have two boxes: ATI box and an Nvidia Box. On my Nvidia box i used virutaldub to capture a VHS tape using the Huffyuv 2.1 compression. And when i open it or play it, it looks fine:

However, on my second ATI box which I've also installed the Huffyuv codec on, it looks like this when i go to open it in Premiere or VirtualDub:

I have seen a very similar effect with huffyuv before with my ATI TV Wonder VE card. I think it was caused by a resolution mismatch between the software and the drivers.

I can't remember exactly how to reproduce or solve this bug, I think it had something to do with resetting/renaming the capture file in vdub's options.
