dvd-rom quit reading burned dvd's

my dvd-rom drive quit reading them all together. it used to play them fine, but now it will only play original dvd's. any ideas how i can fix this?

Try a cleaning disc.. if that don't work it's probably dead.

it reads all dvd-rom and cd-rom dics, just not dvd-r or dvd+r like it used to after i reformatted my computer
